Sun City Grand Real Estate: Phoenix Arizona Retirement Communities Blog by Leolinda Bowers

A Desert Blossom on Desert Blossom

This weekend I took my dog for an afternoon walk.  While on Desert Blossom Way in Sun City Grand in Surprise, I saw this blooming desert blossom.  It is unique to see a cacti blooming this time of year.

Great photos, Leolinda.  It is very early for cactus blooms.  Great photo.

You really have to love the flower on such a great and prickly plant.

That's beautiful, Leolinda. We don't have desert blossoms here in Florida so I find that very interesting and so pretty.
