Texas Sage an Arizona Favorite
During the Arizona summer monsoon season the Texas Purple Sage is at its splendor. Texas Sage is planted throughout Sun City Grand in Surprise AZ, on the common areas, medians and on the ruffs of the golf courses.
I took this picture after a monsoon storm. I have two sage plants on the side of my Sun City Grand home. They are easy to care for and extremely hearty, making it ideal for people like me who have a "purple thumb". The flowering plants attract butterflies, and are in plentiful bloom whenever there is high humidity. Visitors and residents enjoy these stunning flowering plants especially after a monsoon storm.

Leolinda, I have to have my landscape crew cut off the flowers as the come out with the purple sage in my back yard - my new puppies will sit for HOURS and try to catch the bees that love these bushes, LOL.
