Each year a parade of cars and RV's can be seen leaving Sun City Grand in Surprise AZ. The magical date is April 15. Our season ends with winter visitors leaving for their respective hometowns.
Highway 40 east was closed a bit of the day today due to high winds. Although the winds keep our temperatures down, it blows in a bit of dust. It can be frustrating trying to keep a house clean but it's sure nice to relax under the nighttime skies enjoying the 65 degree weather.

I was out a couple of weeks ago and took this photo.
How can anyone think that now is a good time to leave?
I hope some decide to stay longer and buy a larger home!
Karen, Gorgous picture. Maybe our winter residents go home in April to see the beautiful blooms in their home-state.
Hello Leolinda and some wonderful temps, the temps on my vacation in Thailand & Burma are in the 90s and lower 100s ...............
HOT!
Vegas Bob from Thailand
Leolinda - snow bird season is over. How did that happen so fast! And we all know what is next - summer and monsoon season (whoops what do they want us to call that now?) LOL
Robert, Does Thailand have high humidity? The lack of humidity makes it bearable in Nevada and Arizona.
Anna, from snow birds its winter visitors. I can't wait to hear the politically correct word for monsoon.
Hey Leolinda, what a creative post for the departing "snow birds" We have a number of people on the Texas coast that do the same thing every year!
