Surprise Arizona Weather
It rained all day yesterday. It wasn't a drizzle, we were deluged with water. Thus far in 2010, rainfall in Surprise Arizona equals to the total rainfall in 2009. Yesterday was the type of day that made you want to cuddle up in warm cozy bed or in a snuggie while reading a book.
I had an open house advertised and held it open during the downpour. 11 groups of people came to my open house or a total of 29 people.
I love the rain and its effect on the desert. This morning the golf courses were damp and soggy, void of golfers.
I took this picture on my way home. Late these afternoon golfers were allowed to play the back nine of Cimarron Golf Course. I'm so glad that I live and work in communities that constantly remind me of my hometown of Hilo Hawaii.

Leolinda, beautiful photos! It has been a strange winter for everyone!
Leolinda - It rained ALL day here in Frisco too. But the awesome thing is that I got 2 contracts out of it and another one, if the builder's salesperson would come to work!
Rained here in Austin too! Sounds like you had a succesful open house. 30 people during a rainey day is a great turn out!
I like the pictures. Congratulations on a successful open house. Did you advertise in many internet sites?
Tony, maybe its global warming.
Loreena, sounds like you are reigning in contracts. I'm very happy for you!
Christopher, yes, I guess I should hope for another few weeks of rain.
Gita, my open houses are advertised on my company internet website, my website and in print advertising. Sometimes I advertise on AR.
Leolinda,
reading the comments I thought I'd tuned into the weather channel. It's been a weird winter all over.
Looks like the rains cause a little flash of puddling here and there... Thanks for sharing the nice pics...
Terry, It's so cold that I was able to wsear my fox jacket today.
Caron, I don't think that whomever was in charge of planning the county roads considered periodic rainstorms.
It's been such an interesting year for rain here! Yikes! And I'm heading up to Prescott first thing in the am for AAR conference. Snow and more rain - yeah! The cool thing is that's the GREEN is so GREEN..........the mountain flowers are going to be gorgeous in a few weeks. Can't wait to see the cactus blooms. Great photo opps!
