Surprise Arizona Saint Bernard Dogs
La Grande Hotel for dogs was the only place that I felt comfortable in leaving my cocker spaniel Peach. Dogs vacation in a beautiful resort setting in Surprise Arizona as their owners vacation, comfortable that their pets are well cared for. A few days ago I stopped in to visit with Connie Tedford, owner of Le Grande Hotel for Dogs. Connie is the founder of the non-profit organization Greater Southwest Saint Bernard rescue. Since 1998, she has successfully rescued over 1,000 St. Bernard dogs.
When I arrived, several Saint Bernards and other breeds were playing in the pool, fetching toys and romping around like children. At the end of playtime Connie began grooming her two Saint Bernard pups, getting them ready for the Saint Bernard Club of America dog show in Branson, Missouri. After a week of primping, Connie will have the both pups ready for the dog show. Less than a year old, these majestic pets are sure to bring home a ribbon or two. Clients and fans from Surprise, Sun City Grand and Sun City West wish Connie and her little ones the best of show!
