Pasa de Angelinas Authentic Spanish Restaurant in Surprise Arizona
Pasa de Angelinas is one of the newest restaurants in Surprise Arizona. Located at 15226 West Bell Road in Surprise, the restaurant is open daily from 11am to 8pm and closed on Sundays.
If you enjoy authentic Spanish food, you are sure to enjoy Pasa de Angelinas! In my estimation it's one of the best Spanish restaurants in the state.
The owner, Terifinia Sutton, is a first generation in her family born in the United States. She proudly displays her heritage and lineage on the entrance wall to her restaurant, a dream finally fulfilled after many years of hard work and saving.
The ambiance is typical Spanish with familiar flamingo music. Servers were prompt and attentive, consistently refilling beverages and checking with guests. The food, superb! My clients enjoyed the pork chile verde, a mixture of diced pork and green chiles simmered to perfection and topped with cheese. My husband thought his beef chimichanga was one of the best that he has ever eaten, just scrumptious. I had the chicken paella, without the shrimp. The paella was fresh, tasty and perfectly seasoned; authentic just like you would eat in Spain.
Terifinia is planning the grand opening for the end of October, when the restaurant's liquor license is approved. Prices are reasonable, service is excellent, portions are generous and parking is plentiful. Reservations can be made for groups of 8 or more.
This new restaurant is a terrific place to dine and is sure to make its mark in the City of Surprise. Hope to meet you there!
