Sun City Grand Veterans Day Parade
Sun City Grand Veterans Day Parade that will be held on November 11, 2010. Flags throughout the community are being raised in preparation for this special day. Sun City Grand residents will be honoring our military men and women at a ceremony that will beging at 9:15am. Veterans will march together from Sonoran Plaza to the Sun City Grand Amphitheater. Willow Canyon High School Drum & Bugle Corps will lead the march to the amphitheater. 
Luke Air Force Base Honor Color Guard will present colors. Brigadier General Jerry D. Harris Commander of the 56th Fighter Wing at Luke Air Force Base is the keynote speaker. Mary Jo Johnson will sing the National Anthem and Jaz-Ma-Taz will sing patriotic songs.
Operation Wamheart, a Sun City Grand Ladies Niners charity will be recognized for their time and effort to make the the Luke AFB's Fighter Country Foundation a success.
A military flyover in Sun City Grand during the ceremony is scheduled for 10:15 a.m. by F-16 pilots from Luke Air Force Base. The Pentagon and Federal Aviation Administration has authorized four aircraft flying in single formation and they will make one flat, level pass at 1,000 feet above the Sun City Grand Amphitheater.
