Arizona Statehood Celebration Begins!
Arizona became a state 100 yeas ago on February 14, 1912. The state has certainly evolved over the past 100 years, enormous changes.
On February 14, 2012 cities and communities throughout the state will be celebrating statehood with a birthday party blash. Courthouses and churches will ring out Arizona's 100th year of statehood by rining their bells at 2:14pm and again at 7:12pm. The cities of Flagstaff, Peoria, Phoenix, Scottsdale, Avondale, Tucson, Surprise, Show Low, Payson, and much more will each host a celebration. Communities will be lighting up the skies in celebrating 100 years young.
Motorcycles from Arizona Copper Chopper will make appearances at festivals, fairs and sporting events throughout the state.
2012 will be an excellent time to visit Arizona enjoying the festivities planned for the Valley of the Sun. Be sure to make your reservations now and I hope that you are able to get out and see some of the special events planned for each city.
