Sun City West AZ Real Estate Resale Market Update
There are 17,300 residences within the community of Sun City West Arizona. There are seven golf courses owned by the Sun City West homeowners association, four are championship courses and three are executive-length courses. Presently, only 441 homes are listed on MLS for sale. This comprises of 68 golf course properties and 373 non-golf course properties.
There were 70 properties that sold and closed in escrow in December 2009. 10 properties were on the golf course and 60 properties were off the golf course. On average, the 70 properties sold for 5.3% lower than list price. As of December 31, 2009, there were 63 properties pending close of escrow.
The averages for the 10 sold Sun City West Golf Course properties are:
Average List Price = $233,680
Average Sale Price = $222,800
Average Price Per Square Foot = $115.95
Average Days on the Market = 120 Days
The averages for the 61 sold Sun City West Non-Golf Course properties are:
Average List Price = $163,203
Average Sale Price = $154,298
Average Price Per Square Foot = $97.39
Average Days on the Market = 157 Days
