Sun City Grand Community Garage Sale in Surprise Arizona 6 November 2010
The Fall Sun City Grand community yard sale is around the corner. It will be held on November 6, 2010 in Sun City Grand in Surprise AZ at the main recreation center in the Sonoran Plaza Parking lot.
People come from all around the state to this popular event. As with other community garage sales, only Sun City Grand residents are able to sell items at the community garage sale. Yes, as Sun City Grand resident I will have a booth at the garage sale. What do I have to sell? Nothing, I'm giving away my "stuff". The yearly Sun City Grand community garage sale is an excellent venue to meet neighbors and friends, socialize, eat, relax and purchase that little trinket that you can't live without.
This picture is of the Sun City West garage sale that was held a few weeks ago by Sun City West residents. Organizers of the Sun City West community garage sale estimated 10,000 people in attendance. Sun City Grand community garage sale draws equal attendance.
Both Sun City Grand and Sun City West are Arizona West Valley age restricted communities. Both communities have world class golf courses, recreation centers, swimming pools, tennis courts, pickle ball courts, bocce ball, a softball field, art studios, aerobic studios, and numerous clubs and events.
This year the Sun City Grand Community Garage Sale will be held on November 6, 2010 from 7am to 12 noon. Bring lots of $1 bills, just in case vendors do not have change. Come early because Sun City Grand is a retirement community in which people are up before the chickens. Wear good walking shoes, just in case you get stepped on. Bring an empty belly, there will be lots of food. Put a smile on your face, it will bring calmness to your soul. I hope to see you there!
