The Palo Verde Quilt Clubis a chartered Club of Sun City West Recreation Center. Each year the Palo Verde Quilt Club of Sun City West raffles off a charity quilt. The proceeds of the raffle benefits the Palo Verde's charities. This year's quilt is 93" x 93", the ideally suited for a king sized bed. 
The quilt is hand embroidered and hand quilted, exquisite and meticulously crafted. The workmanship and quality of the quilting demonstrate talent that abounds members of the Palo Verde Patchers.
The lucky winner will surely be proud to own this quilt that clearly has 12 stitches per inch, indicative of more experienced quilters. Drawing for this fabulous work of art will be held at the Fall 2011 Craft Fair at Sun City West Recreation Center. Tickets can be purchased at the craft fair.
For full-time Arizona residents like I am, tickets can be purchased during the summer at the club's weekly meeting at the Kuentz Recreation Center on Tuesday or Thursday mornings between 9am and noon. Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5.
If you are a quilter and want to join the Palo Verde quilters, there is just one minor prerequisite - you must be a Sun City West homeowner with a valid active Sun City West recreation card.
